Course plan for the use of taumoped

Access techniques and the use of a rope scooter are closely related.

The Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority defines access by rope moped as §17-24 Rope used as an access road.

NS 9600 does not include training in the use of a rope access device as a mandatory part. However, training in accordance with NS 9600 defines some of the elements that are taught in a traditional course for rope access technicians.

The members of SOFT have also recognized that the training of TT personnel in the use of rope mopeds should follow a certain minimum. Therefore, SOFT has together with the members made a minimum recommendation for training of persons, who already have a NS 9600 certificate, in the use of towed mopeds.
